Passenger Door Window Re-dux

For 2023 I started re-working the passenger door window
the old window motor froze up and the angle of the window
was incorrect to slide into a window channel

As you can see I was able to get the window to go all the way down
without modifying the door frame

I had to modify the motor location and the window rail placement
in order to get the window to flow in front of the frame bolts
and within the 1/2" thinner door skin

After a few iterations of the window rails, location of the window motor
and cutting out the bottom of the door where the rear window rail connects
I was able to slide the window all the way down in a smooth fashion

The following is how I was able to get the window to slide down with the window buttons
in addition the window drops when the door open button is pressed to allow it
to clear the window channel that seals the window to the car body
Window fully retracted into the door

using 4 5-pin relay switches allows the window and door latch to function directly off the battery
there is an additional rain in front of the door, that allows the switch to function
allowing the window to drop then when the switch is activated only the door popper functions

Window fully retracted into door and closed

Window sealed into temp window channel

Window dropped when door open button pressed allowing it to clear channel

Passenger Door Fix

 Passenger Door work commenced

Working on the pillar, lining it up with the NACA duct

Ended up cutting the pillar in half and re-enforcing the center

Skimmed the NACA duct to match the pillar

Final Installation Part 8

Starting 2022, we started making a new dash out of fiberglass

Final Installation Part 9

The last few Months have been focused on adding all the remaining close out panels and finalizing the rear hatch
Installed the default close out panels but thought they looked bad
Create new custom rear close out panels for the wheel wells
Decided to leave the open channel down the sides of the car giving the side vents the ability to vortex in the wheel wells and cool the rear brakes
the panels covering the electronics on the passenger side and the fuel parts on the driver side are removable
